Awareness Campaigns

The National STD/AIDS Control Programme (NSACP) is responsible for implementing HIV/STI awareness programs in Sri Lanka. The NSACP works with various organizations, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community-based organizations, to implement these programs.

HIV/STI awareness programs are implemented to educate the general public, particularly young people and high-risk groups, about the risks of HIV and other STIs, promote safe sexual practices and encourage people to get tested for HIV and other STIs.
